- Improved sourcing: We improved our Pea sourcing PURIS® P2.0, meaning that our pea and rice proteins are now sourced exclusively from the U.S. and Canada. In changing our Pea sourcing, we did adjust the pea / rice ratio slightly, but our protein is still a complete amino acid profile.
- Cleaner formula: We removed 5 grams of gums, fillers, and stabilizers to remove unnecessary ingredients from our formula (specifically silica, MCT oil, guar gum, and sunflower lecithin). This then enabled us to add 2 more servings to the same container, allowing for an improved price per serving for a higher quality protein.
Note on leucine: as our protein is a supplement to our customer's daily protein intake, we do anticipate that customers are getting amino acids from other food that they are consuming during the day. For those who are looking to get 2.7g of leucine strictly from their protein powder supplementation, customers could take more than 1 scoop of the protein powder (1.5 or 2 scoops) to hit their leucine targets.
